Me llamo Edson Montenegro (they/them). I'm a non-binary, Latine comedian, actor, and writer based in New York City - originally from Los Angeles! I received a B.S. in Communication Studies from Northwestern University. There, I was a member of two premier improv/sketch comedy groups, Mee-Ow and Out Da Box.

I perform sketch comedy, improv, and characters all around NYC, including Union Hall, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Second City NY, and Upright Citizens Brigade. Most recently, I perform on Maude sketch comedy night at Upright Citizens Brigade every first Monday with the team Gorgeous Stank.

I can be seen in Vanity Fair impersonating Natasha Lyonne; my sketch team Queer Window has performed at the 2022 & 2023 New York Comedy Festival; I originated the role of "The Twink" in Stan Zimmerman and James Berg's comedy Silver Foxes, directed by Michael Urie; and, I've appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and What Would You Do? I also have personal, comedic essays published on Insider.
